Hello, I have installed the Exchange 2010 management console and management shell on a Windows 7 64bit computer which we use to create Active Directory accounts. I have created a user account in ADUC however when I attempt to run the 'enable-mailbox' cmdlet I receive the following error: [PS] C: Windows system32>Enable-Mailbox -Identity 'mydomain.com/Users/Staff/House/John Test' -Alias 'jtest' -Database 'Staff' -verbose Enable-Mailbox: No provisioning handler is installed. At line:1 char:15 + Enable-Mailbox. Hi Sathish, Thank you for your reply, unfortuantly I still receive the same error: [PS] C: Windows system32>Enable-Mailbox -Identity mycompany jtest -Database 'Staff' Enable-Mailbox: No provisioning handler is installed. At line:1 char:15 + Enable-Mailbox. Further to my original post, I believe I have worked out that it is a permissions issue: I have granted the Windows 7 user (a member of the its-helpdeskusers AD group) trying to use the 'enable-mailbox' cmdlet the role permission of 'Mail Recipient Creation' however I believe this role doesn't have permission to use the 'enable-mailbox' cmdlet. (command below) New-RoleGroup -Name HelpdeskUsers -Roles Mail Recipient Creation-Recipient Management -Members its-helpdeskusers Does anybody know what role I need to give this user?

I would like them only to be able to create mailboxes and not modify any other attributes of the mailbox eg. Crack Password Neopets. Mailbox permissions or settings. Hi, You can use cmdlet Get-ManagementRole -cmdlet enable-mailbox to find which Role include the cmdlet. It is ' Mail Recipients' role. Anyhow, if you want to someone only to be able to create mailboxes, the ' Mail Recipient Creation' is right one. Please note the cmdlet should be New-RoleGroup -Name HelpdeskUsers -Roles ' Mail Recipient Creation' -Members its-helpdeskusers Thus, the windows 7 user can run the cmdlet ' New-Mailbox' to create mailbox. They don't need to create account in ADUC first.
