Not A Valid Atg Installation Directory
I am trying to install SQL 2008 R2 Standard on a VMWare virtual machine running Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise. It was installed successfully once but I uninstalled it because it hadn't been installed with the settings I need. The file I'm trying to install it from is SQLServer2008R2SP1-KB25285 83-x64-ENU.EXE. Playstation 2 Esr Disc Patcher Itunes.
The setup installs without incident. Then when I open the SQL Server Installation Center and click on 'New installation or add features to an existing installation' I'm prompted for a folder. Regardless of the folder I select, I get the message that it 'is not a valid installation folder.' I have run everything as an administrator. I've checked the permissions and I have full access to the folders. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the setup.
